Summer students may, but will not always be, hired for positions beginning in May of each year. The experience will be more “hands on” than with most of the larger firms in Alberta. The objective is to prepare students for what an articling year with our firm would be like. As always, the ultimate purpose of hiring summer students is to begin a professional relationship which extends into the future and results in partnership. To that end, the personality and character of each candidate is a factor equal to academic achievement.

Students seeking an articling position should apply well in advance of the Law Society of Alberta Guidelines. In the event we wish to entertain applications for an articling position, interviews will be conducted during the first weeks of June in the year preceding commencement of articles.
